Session II: April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Create either a flat or round piece. The subject will be of your choosing. You will create your piece in clay, create a plaster mold and then, pour the mold in a colored, sanded grout mixture of your choosing to create your final piece. Pieces can then be sanded and polished. Whether you have no experience or years of experience, this class is challenging and rewarding! You may make more than one piece if time allows, however, each additional piece will require paying another materials fee.
OPEN SCULPTURE STUDIO SESSIONS
Sessions are scheduled at your request at a rate of $26 per hour + a materials fee based on your project (typically $30-$50). Costs should be discussed before signing up for sessions. Sessions are open to beginning and experienced sculptors. During your session you could:
- create a new piece
- finish unfinished work
- put the final touches on works in progress
- make a silicon mold
These sessions can be private or scheduled with a group of fellow artists.
